Organisation Description: Volunteer Alliance
recruits, trains, supports and manages volunteers
for four community organisations in Boroondara.
Ashburton Support Services, Elsie Salter House,
Alamein Community Committee and Marwal Centre.
(All in Ashburton, excepting Marwal which
is North Balwyn). ASS is a Senior Citizens
and support centre, ESH is a day dementia
respite care unit, ACC is a Neighbourhood
house and Marwal centre is a Senior Citizens
Centre.
Type of work Available: We a large no. of
volunteers working for us and positions can
range from kitchen hands to car washers, from
gardeners to IT specialists, from Meals on
Wheels delivery to administration support.
Hours Available: Mostly business hours
