Neurosurgical disorders affect many people in all walks of life.
Vital research funding is provided for projects undertaken in fields such as: - head and spinal cord injury and disease
- stroke
- birth defects
- epilepsy
- brain tumours
- Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders.

The Foundation
The Neurosurgical Research Foundation Inc. was formed in 1963/64 and was the first of its kind in Australia. By providing funding for research, the Foundation aims to promote a greater understanding of the brain, spin and nervous system, their diseases and effects on them of injury, so that best possible treatment can be given.
