Raine & Horne Qld Calls On Youth To Bring Colour To Their Community
Raine & Horne Queensland is reminding young people from around the state to get their entries in by July 31 in order to take part in the state-wide colouring-in competition, giving them the chance to win one of 8 Playstation 2 Consoles!
As part of their partnership with Keep Australia Beautiful, Raine & Horne Queensland are running the competition to increase children’s environmental awareness.
Children were asked to colour in a picture and send in their very own environmental message of ten words or less.
Stephen Sharry, CEO of Raine & Horne Queensland says, “The response to this competition so far has been fantastic. We would still like more Queensland kids to get colouring and get those entries in by July 31! The competition is a fun way for children increase their knowledge of the important work being done by the Keep Australia Beautiful program as well as go in the draw to win a Playstation 2.”
“Raine & Horne Queensland agents realise the importance of supporting the local community. Helping to educate the youth of their communities to look after the environment in such a fun manner is an activity that all Raine & Horne Queensland staff are eager to support. They want to encourage young Australians to get involved in caring for their local environment within their community” said Stephen Sharry.
Representatives from Keep Australia Beautiful will assist in the judging process. The winners will be announced in time for Keep Australia Beautiful Week which starts on Monday 28 August 2006.
Each of the 8 winners will receive a Playstation 2 and the Ape Escape 3 game.
